The Sacred Spirit Escape ~ Winter Reflections 2025
Welcome to the very first edition:
As winter settles in and the year drawn to a close, we wanted to take a quiet moment to reflect on 2025 at Sacred Spirit – a year filled with meaningful stays, thoughtful conversations and the reassurance that accessible holidays can be calm, dignified and genuinely restorative.
Sacred Spirit was created to offer a space where guests with disabilities, reduced mobility and those travelling with carers or loved ones can truly relax with confidence and make lasting memories together. This year, we’ve been deeply honoured to welcome visitors who trusted us with their precious time away – many returning, many discovering us for the first time.
A Year of Welcoming Guests: Throughout 2025, Sacred Spirit has been a place of rest for individuals, couples, families and carers – each with their own needs, rhythms and reasons for travelling. Again and again, we’ve been reminded how much peace of mind matters; knowing the space will work, knowing questions are welcome and knowing comfort has been thoughtfully considered.
Hearing that guests felt able to relax, sleep well and simply be while staying with us is something we never take for granted.
Thoughtful Progress & Recognition: This year also brought a moment of quiet pride for us. Sacred Spirit was honoured at Visit England Tourism Awards 2025 in November with Two Bronze Awards! Recognising our commitment to Accessibility and Inclusion with care taken in creating a welcoming, holiday home and Self-Catering Accommodation of the year.
While awards are never the reason we do what we do, this recognition felt like a genuine affirmation – that thoughtful, people-centred, home from home design truly matters. If you want to take a look at the YouTube video (link attached) I am the mad woman in the green dress at the very beginning!
With Gratitude: We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stayed with us in 2025, recommended us to others, shared kind words or simply took the time to get in touch with questions and ideas.
Sacred Spirit continues to grow through listening – and through the trust placed in us by those who choose to holiday here.
Looking Ahead To A New Year: Winter is a quieter time at Sacred Spirit and a chance to pause, reflect and prepare for the year ahead. As we look towards 2026, our focus remains the same - offering inclusive, accessible holidays in Somerset that feel calm, respectful and reassuring from the very first enquiry.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
With kindest regards and warm winter wishes
Michelle Vincent
